Well, my parents recently received my progress report, they were really disappointed.
I got two D's and an F...
I was a straight A student in Elementary & Middle School, but now it's like a switch turned off in my brain, homework means nothing to me.
I got a D in my Humanities Class, (Humanities is History. The only difference is that we discuss the projects and books in both, English and Humanities classes) but it has a small asterisk next to it that says, "Student Shows Improvement".
I also got an F in my English Class. Eww, there are so many little asterisks next to that... "Conference Requested" "Poor Study Habits" "Failure to Complete Work" " Working Below Capacity" "Inadequate Daily Preparation" "Poor Test Performance".
And I got a D in my CPM Algebra class... "Failure To Complete Work".
The only good thing on there is Humanities, and that it says that I'm showing improvement.
I've been having a really hard time lately with these grades. I am personally making myself work harder, but it's difficult for me to concentrate and motivate myself to actually follow through with these decisions.
If you've ever had this problem and have somehow been able to overcome it, I would appreciate any advice you can give me on how to get over this problem.
