yare yare...&(O,o)&;
unprivate journals
well, the only reason that i made my journal un-private (is that a word?) is so that i can post a story of mine. otherwise, my whole life is pretty boring, so why would you read about it? oh yeah, i got locked in a church yesterday. it wasnt for long, but everyone else was screaming... XD it took us thirty minutes to figure out that we should call someone instead of banging on the door.

well, here's a preview of my story! the tentative title is called vampire's bane (cause, duh, its about vampires)

“All right, I get it,” I replied hastily. “You’re a vampire. And I’m…I’m what now?”
“My servant,” he answered dryly, still staring at me with hatred in his eyes. “You will serve me for eternity. Why I chose you, I have no idea, so don’t bother asking me.”
“I don’t know if you’ve forgot something after two thousand years,” I said, a little miffed, “but humans don’t live forever, unlike you.”
He snorted derisively and rolled his eyes. “No, you twit,” he said sharply. “There is a binding process that will tie your life to mine. As long as I live, you’ll live.”
“Will I age?” I asked apprehensively. I didn’t want think about becoming an old hag, while he stayed youthful forever. It would have been duly embarrassing. I thought about it. My birthday was in a few weeks. I wouldn’t even make it to my eighteenth birthday.
“No,” he replied, settling back onto the chaise. “If I had to keep you forever, you’d better look good forever.”
“You’re really vain for a vampire,” I said, making a face. All the novels I read about vampires had portrayed them as handsome and kind, a kind of Byronic hero or a struggling, almost-humanlike entity. This guy was handsome, of course, but rotten to his undead bones.
“It also sounds better if I call you my girlfriend when we travel,” he said pointedly, “instead of my mother. And the vanity comes from being better than everyone, naturally. Do you think an ordinary human can do what vampires can do?”
“Well, at least I can walk out in the sunlight and eat garlic,” I spat viciously. I wasn’t exactly thinking at the moment- I just wanted to say something to rib him.
“I can walk out in sunlight,” he answered. “And why would you willingly eat garlic? It makes you breath smell disgusting. It’s not very appealing for a young lady to have rancid breath, you know.”
I glared at him viciously, wishing that I could have been born with the power to shoot laser beams from my eyes. I wanted to see him burn- preferably in hell of course- but burn, all the same.
“How about Jesus?” I asked, with a smirk on my face. “Are you afraid of him?”
He suddenly unhooked a necklace and removed it. He threw it at me and I instinctively caught it. It was a beautiful filigree chain with a single Celtic cross on it. The cross was inlaid with bright, ice blue sapphires that matched the color of his eyes. One large sapphire was shaped like a teardrop in the middle of the cross.
“What does scare you?” I asked with a dubious look on my face. “I mean, it’s like you’re invincible!”
