all was peaceful once more in this little slice of heaven in a pie of hell...
the purr of the engine was hard to distinguish over the roar of the thunder...
her head lay on his chest and his fingers intertwined with her hair
it was all so simple but yet so complex at the same time
she breathed in the bitter scent of him...as if she was walking through a grape feild
his breathing was steady and strong it some how kept hers moving along in steady patterns of hopeless inquiry
why was this so interquit this form of weaving and stitching that was holding them together...
this was their special place here in the silence... a place of cool serenity
it was so impossible to break and so hurtful to think of him having to leave so soon again
obligation pulling them apart, destiny eeking ever so closely to tearing them apart from each other
something that was once so pure was now rotten to the bitter core...
somehow everything was frozen in her heart ever since she found out he had to leave her... and never return
did she give up? or was she just ready to admit that..
