You are my flashlight.
If I am down,
You lift me up.
If I need help,
You are always there.
I am sorry if I hold you down,
If I hold you back.
If I try to control you.
I don't mean to.
I just wanted you to know
That I love you all.
I am thankful for all of you.
And it means a lot to me
That you stuck with me.
And that you haven't left me,
Like others have,
For other, better, friends.
And that you still believe in me.
You shouldn't still be my friend
I don't deserve you.
Yet here you are,
Through thick and thin,
You are with me.
And I don't understand why,
but I love you all.
And I hope that you know that.
If you weren't with me,
I don't know what I would do
Or what I would become.
