Buenos Dios peoples, today was my day off from Ralph's. I know what all you kids are thinking (I think,) Party time! time to get together with my pals and just waste time. Ok, I know the language is different and maybe the reasons for hanging out have changed since I was a teen and into my 20's. Ok folks, get ready, we're talking about the 70's and 80's. I was a stoner then. I hung out with other stoners. I also hung out with a group of friends who didn't belong to any particular group, but today would be the nerds, dorks and geeks of today. They became my friends after high school.
Well, I ramble.....
Either way, I do have a second job. I do office work for my brother's company. He's in construction building coin laundromats. My dad started doing it when we moved to California and my brother took over the business and later starting his own. So, today, I took advantage and was able to get alot done that sometimes I'm not able to because I have to pack up and drive 30 to 40 minutes to my other job.
(sigh) someday (when I remember to buy one) I'll get the winning lottery ticket.
Until then, dudes and dudettes, when you have to start paying rent and bills (I'm not talking to you folks who already are), you'd understand.
