Richard wasn’t in the greatest shape, he was large, he was big boned, but he also had a bit of a gut. He didn’t take pride in his stomach but in his strength, though he was big, he was agile and strong. He had jet black hair, and light blue eyes, he had a bit of a baby face that his girl friend always messed with him about. Richard had a bit of a mustache and beard but it wasn’t as visible as he desired so he tried to get it to grow but wasn’t too successful. Richard was sixteen years old, he didn’t have a car though and he didn’t have his linces he was a little too lazy and he kept telling himself he’d do it the next weekend. Richard wasn’t exactly true to himself, he showed the side that everyone at school wanted to see, a big idiot who was all brawn and no brain, but the truth of the matter was Richard did enjoy fighting, just like everyone else he had some adrenaline rushes from fighting, but he wasn’t as mean as he acted. He was gentle, he wrote poetry for his girlfriend and did everything he could to make her happy. The only people that knew of Richard’s soft side were his family and his girl friend, Samantha.
Richard walked into his house and gave his mom a hug and told his step dad that he got his costume. “Nice… the reaper huh….” Chuckled Jack “tries not to scare anyone too much”. “Don’t worry about it Jack it’s just to make sure I can sneak up on people.” Richard replied to his step-dad. Richard walked up to his room to see how the costume looked. Richard put the cloak on over his clothes and looked at his closet doors mirrors and grinned. It’s so dark I can disappear in the night he thought to himself. Richard turned around ready to pack away the cloak when he heard a soft tapping come from behind. Richard turned around and saw something that made him almost piss his pants, the Reaper tapping the glass from the inside with the tip of his scythe. “So you’re the next one eh young man?” the reaper said, its eyes sockets watched Richard making to look like it saw everything and nothing all at once. “N…next what?” Richard stammered pretty freaked out that he was speaking to death itself. “Reaper of course…. You’re wearing the cloak….. So it means you’re taking the job.” The reaper continued to talk, its skin and muscle-less jaw moving and making the words somehow. Richard let out a nervous laugh “you know this is just a costume… right? It’s just a old musty costume…”. The Reaper removed its hood and its skull seemed to have been replaced by the old man’s face from the ancient shop. “No it isn’t….. I had that in my shop waiting for some foolish kid to come along and take it because he or she was too damn lazy to get a costume when they should have.” The old man gave a distorted grin his old face making the grin slightly sag. Richard looked at the man in his mirror “So… what if I say no?”. “Than your girl friend will continue on with her normal life span of…” the old man reached into the cloak and pulled out a pitch black pocket watch with blood red rubies incrusted in it in and odd patterns “ohh…. About… hmm… two hours at the most"

Kinda hard to read because of the lack of spacing, though...
You could use some definite improvement, but it is really great, so far! 3nodding
