The Sanna Continuation...
Since my original Sannachie got hacked i'm not really inclined to want to go back there. so I'm going to transfer what I've got left to here and continue on. fresh start and blah blah.
"Do not stand by my grave and weep... I[m not here..."
I'm just asleep.

Sooooooo tired. barely 8 o clock and I'm knackered... I guess that's what happens when you stand around in the rain in a grave yard for 2 1/2 hours. my cute and younger sibling, who is also my ride home from church is writing an article for the Record,s nation wide church publication. Her article happens to be on the cheery theme of death and attending our first funeral. joy.
She felt looking around in a grave yard for a bit might inspire her... and then we got side tracked. A third of the graves had no marker or head stone and the only way you noticed a grave we there was the plastic flowers stuck in at what you assumed was the head of the grave... others were visible only by the concaved earth.

more than a dozen people had flowers or fully fledged gardens on theres. I like that idea... but not climbing roses. They go nuts and take over.

I don't think I'd want a big fancy grave. give it 50 odd years and they fall apart completely. there were a half dozen or more in various stages of falling apart and at least 5 snapped of or shattered head stones. There were dozens of wooden markers or simple little crosses. All very sad. We kind of wondered if there is a record kept somewhere of who is planted where. It was very random and not planned out and many of the new graves didn't have markers yet either.

two in particular had me in tears. A 6 year old girl and an 8 year old boy. their families have covered their graves in mementos and messages to them.

my sis found a poem on a grave she wishes to use and noted down some of the trite and over used phrases from the grave stones....
still, after hours in the rain my feet are killing me and i'm flattened. Once again a do the very basics of net stuff and crash day.

And that's what I plan to do. A book, a mug of something hot and bed in that order.
