Yes this update is dedicated to my tree that was cut down and my lawn gnomes.. yesh they were smashed... here's the story guys...
August 1st: 10:30 PM -
My dad had left for work at 10 PM. My mom and I had just headed up to bed. 10:28 I come back down (to go back on the computer) and I hear a loud BOOM "WTF was that?!?!" I say.. I figure it was an accident outside of my house because it was close enough.. Then I smell something burning. I look out the door what do I see?! A car, rammed into my tree. The tree toppled over onto my house (crushed the gutter) I'm like.. shocked and amazed. "Are you okay?" I ask. The guy gets out of the car, a huge cut on his face. "Give me two minutes, two minutes and I'll get out of here." He said. "I'm gonna go get my mom now.." "Please no.. give me two minutes and I'll get out of here." I close the door and go get my mom. She comes out and begs my mom not to call the cops (he was drunk and had no license on him). He gives us his name and address and number. We call his house to verify everything and his wife ends up coming over (it was her car, and her insurance) They do some more begging not to call the cops. The man mutters something about not needing another ticket (he probably had his license suspended). My mom is upset because she knows my dad would kill her if she didn't call the cops. After coming to an agreement (written down) that they'd fix any damage and getting all their information they leave. It's now 12 AM.
He completley destroyed our tree, plants, and most lawn things, not to mention our gutter. The man says that he's a landscaper and will have it all fixed the next day..
August 2nd: 3 PM -
They came over to look at the tree, said it needed to be taken down. They also look at the other damage. They can't really tell with the gutter because the trees there..
August 3rd: 6 PM -
They cut the tree down and got a look at the gutter, completely smashed against the tree. I also took some pictures in case we needed them. There were tire marks that indicated the car kept trying to move after it hit the tree. The man ended up needing stitches on his face and he broke two ribs.
They still haven't come back to do something with the stump. They're putting a new tree there, and getting us new plants I believe. I have no idea what they're going to do with the gutter. We still have no clue how he got where he was. Since my moms van was on the street and the trashbag in the opposite direction was never touched.
So that was my.. exciting story for a while. Haha I live such a dull life! But I went to the grocery store that's next door to the dollar store I applied to and the dollar store is still hiring so I'm gonna go there and see if they're interested in me. Maybe I can still get a job! Hehe my summer has been so boring. Like really it has. I bought a new PC game only to find out I have to pay 12 bucks a month to play it. So I have to get around to taking that back. It looked like a cool game too! It's called Shadowbane.. cool game..
Haha me and Shane are doing okay I guess. Meh haven't been talking much but he's putting himself on his school schedule since he goes back to school next week. So he's been getting tired. Bah damn tiredness
I gotsta start thinking about college. Meh college. I have NO idea what I wan't to major in. Photography would be fun but my dad said to focus on something that will make me money. I want to do something with computers but I have no idea what. I also gotta start looking around for scholarships and stuff.. bah I really have to focus this year in school.. all college prep classes sweatdrop
