I had a good time in St. Paul.
Jana and I hung out the whole day together. It was so crowded at the festival, man it was hot in there!
Today is the last day to go to the festival of nations, so go while you can! You will have a great time. I did. Or there's always next year too.
I'm kinda too lazy to write all the details in.
Basically Jana and I hung out w/ the other exchange students, and went shopping and stuff. I had giant pocky, sushi, some chinese food and stuff, and rice. And sakura punch too. I bought orange chocolate right before we left.
It was fun watching the performers. There was like this giant auditorium where people sang and danced. We watched the Scottish dancers, a jazz band, and the Africans dancers and singers.
I don't think the exchange student from Spain liked me very much.. she hung w/ Jana and I most of the day, but she kept giving me these weird looks. And on the coach bus, I waved to her because I remembered her from and AFS meeting. But she just completely ignored me and didn't wave or anything. xp
It was more fun when I hung with Jana and Carolina. Carolina is really nice. We got along really well.
I bought little Dutch wooden shoes for mum, I couldn't resist! They're so coote.
For my brother I bought a ninja-panda button. It's sweet. I got a panda button for me too.
There was lots of stuff there; like kimono making, German porcelain making, and stuff to buy like puppets, clothes, accessories, parasols, and all kinds of stuff! It was amazing. There's stuff there from like 30 different countries! eek
Well, you'll have to and see for yourself how you like it! Tell me your stories if you went! How did you think it went? Let me know! ^^
