OK, so I'm 27, which is pretty old to be attending a prom, but I missed out on TWO proms while I was at school. I got invited as a guest when I was in Lower Sixth, but he bailed last minute, and for reasons now lost in the mists of time, I never actually attended my own proper prom.
My fella on the other hand managed to blag his way into TWO proms - he got my share!
And now it's even become common to have a prom at the end of the fifth year - so I could have even missed out on THREE of the rotten events.
Anyway, all this preamble is leading up to the fact that I'm excited at being invited to Gaia's Prom. Thank you Gaia - I finally get the party I've been waiting a decade to attend!
Now.... do I have enough time to get ready? xd
