"Please tell me where we are going." I asked.
"No. You'll see when we get there." Jean replied.
"Are we there yet?" I asked bored.
"Yes, we just have to touch ground." Jean answered.
We fell through the air then when we were 2 feet from the ground Jean stopped us from crashing then fell lightly to the ground. He put me down.
"It's a good thing I'm immortal or I might have died of a heart attack by now." I said crossly.
Jean laughed as he started walking.
"It's not funny Jean!" I fumed as he kept laughing and eventually stopped. We were in a dense forest, surrounded by trees so large that i couldnt even see the tops with human sight, barely with my vampire sight could i see to their tops.
We ran at preternatural speed for a few seconds and found ourselves in a clearing before a grand mansion.
"Wow!" I whispered in awe. "Who lives here?"
"Iasaes does and occasionally others stay with him." Jean answered me.
"Ok, is he your sire or something?"
"No just a friend. Come, he's expecting us."
