I felt exhausted when I got inside the coffin with Jean. All night I had perfected the telepathic push. Now I could make it hold up against Krytys and Jean for a little while, but not Iasaes.
I could also use the fire gift, it meant I could make fire with my mind and stop others from using it aganst me. Jean was satisfied and so was I. Iasaes and Krytys both thought I must have other powers too. Jean agreed but wanted them to wait to see if I had other powers 'till tomorrow.
I woke up the next evening and went outside. The three others were already out there talking. I started walking over. Suddenly Iasaes shot a dozen arrows straight at my middle, they came to fast and I couldn't get the telepathy to push all of them.
Right before the arrows hit me, my body shook violently and I split in two and the arrows flew right between the two identical Lamias standing next to each other.
All five of their mouths dropped open. I faced myself and poked my clone, it was real. I slapped my face, I was awake and it hurt. I imagined myself as one being and my bodies came back together.
When I came together i felt a wierd jolt and a shiver ran down my spine.
"Wow!" I said.
I walked over to the others. They seemed frozen in shock. I shook each of them to get them out of their stupor. It didn't work. I punched them all hard in the stomach, that woke them up.
"H-How did you do that?" Krytys asked.
"I don't know." I said. I backed up, closed my eyes, and imagined myself in three bodies. I felt the jolt and shiver and when I opened my eyes I saw two of myself standing next to each other.
"Hi" I said. I waved at them. They waved back."Can you guys talk?" I asked.
"We can do nearly everything you can do. At least that's what we think." they answered. I imagined myself as one again.
"Well I guess today will be like yesterday. I'll work on this while you guys chill out and take this in." I said as I walked a little closer to the house and started duplicating myself.
"Jean, what in hell did you sire?!?"Krytys asked.
"I have no idea except that I love her." Jean said with a smile as he stared at 10 Lamias duplicating themselves into 20.
"Great, Jean has sired something with the capabilities to make an army of itself!" Krytys said as he looked at the 20 Lamias in front of the house turn to 40.
"SHHH!!" Jean hissed at him as 40 became 80 Lamias.
I stopped dividing and pulled myself back together. I walked over to the men and said
"You would think that the more of me there are the weaker the clones would get right? But they are all as strong as the original!" I said excitedly.
"And I don't think there is an end to how many of myself I can make! Isn't that great?" I asked giddy. Krytys swayed and fainted.
"What'swrong with him?" I asked.
"Oh, he just thinks you are going to take over the world or do something destructive." Jean said smiling.
"The only world I'm taking over is your's Jean." I said grinning as I kissed him on the cheek.
