Oh yeah, Fanime was a total blast. I'll try to upload pictures when I get the chance, but we had so many cameras that I never really needed to use mine, so it sat in my luggage the whole time.

Zjester's Pimpin' Kakashi outfit held a lot of fans this year. I overheard some people chatting about him and recalling him from last year, so I guess the outfit really is going over well. I bet the subtle improvements to it helped (I certainly thought it looked better). And it was always twice as funny when Junsui and I were walking beside him as his number one hoes.

I keep wondering if we should try different characters for the sexy jutsu so that the overall group would match well. This is mostly because Gaara is friggin' scary and Lee can't technically perform jutsu in the first place. The two together is a classic pair, of course, but I can't imagine Gaara EVER being Kakashi's b***h (to say the least) and I bet that Lee would only do it as a challenge or if Gai told him it was a training exercise. Both scenarios are a bit unlikely, lol.

Despite my doubts, I was seriously surprised to find myself being stopped for photos when I was all by myself. I had broken off from my pimp and fellow ho several times and was still asked to take pictures just as often. There was a group of guys who had stopped me for a moment in order to say that I was the first person they had found who made Lee look sexy. After that, there were dozens of other people who applauded my outfit and occasionally asked me where I had found the garments. Needless to say, I am becoming rather proud of my outfit (I honestly thought that it wasn't going to get this level of attention, but I guess I've underestimated myself again). And here I was thinking that I wasn't in good enough shape to wear it. I still intend to get more exercise in before the next year, but I guess people still thought I was...er...sexy...>>; I blame the tights, they made my legs look FAR better than they actually are (I. Am. ********. Pale.)

I'm trying not to get a big head, but I actually ended up in a fit of giggles last night when OBEYTHEFWEE told me, in great detail, of the several guys who had literally stopped what they were doing and began to check me out rather thoroughly. Yet, this also provides me with shame o_o;

Perhaps I should add a skirt to the outfit..? But I designed it to look like an 80s dancer, so a skirt would probably ruin it. At the very least, I intend to work on my hair more, but I worry that the whole "practically no pants" thing is a little too much. Without the large headband/bow/sash and leg warmers, I'm basically wearing a leotard and tights, so there's the slight illusion that my a** is completely open to the world (and it's surprisingly comfortable...).

Whether or not I decide on covering my fat a**, I still intend to adjust the outfit. I didn't use any hand wraps this year because it was so difficult the year before, but I think I should give it another go. I could probably use different tape, but I should expect to lose a bit of hair or skin afterwards...

Speaking of early ex foliation, my Urahara Kisuke outfit caused much more trouble than I would have thought. I had to scrub REALLY freakin' hard to get all the face paint off (now my face is flaking like I had a sunburn) and the strong medical tape that I used to strap my boobs in was...well, STRONG. Dez and FWEE helped me get it off, but not without a decent amount of pain. Once I hopped into the shower to try and get the residual sticky goo off me, I was REALLY feeling it. The large red slash mark on my back, that I thought was just an irritated spot, was actually removed skin. It was just enough layers that it didn't bleed much, but HOO that b***h stings, man! Even though it doesn't bleed, it keeps oozing out a small amount of puss every time I accidentally rub it the wrong way. It stuck to my shirt after my shower today and I had completely forgotten until I stood up after watching some TV. Either I get a small shirt to cover me (instead of just a bra) the next time I use the tape or I just let poor Kisuke have boobs...OUCH.

Despite all of my wardrobe malfunctions and doubts, Fanime was STILL awesome. The night rave was GREAT (except for Sunday night...when the DJ was complete s**t), and the Artists' hall was immaculate! I'd say the gaming room was fun, but I never really had the chance to play anything because they were always occupied and had a lot of people. Still, I recognized the games, and they were all high quality, so I give props for that. Oddly enough, I didn't buy very much this year in the dealers' room. They either didn't have as many awesome things to sell, or I am no longer overwhelmed by the massive Fandom/Japanese supply overload. Still, I can't help but feel a little disappointed in them. And yet I STILL had a BLAST!
