Wow,
I havent written in a really long time. Well a few weeks anyway, but thats still a long time. I've been working lately. Actually I've been working a whole lot. Since Sony called my back I've been a working machine. Its too bad that I really cant write about what game I'm working on(damn confidentiality contracts). But its been really fun. I like the job(of course). I like the people(WOW!!) eek And I really dont mind working very long hours like I have been. Its been 12 hour days for the past 2 weeks. Its been hectic and I kinda feel like a zombie from lack of sleep but its not too bad. Today is my day off as I desperately needed it. I dont think i'll take anymore anytime soon. I want to work as much as possible at least until they run out of projects.
At least I'll have a good stash in my savings account. I've worked it out that I can pay off one whole credit card and half of another. If I can get those paid off and I get canned, i'll be a few steps closer to debt freedom. I did indulge just a little bit with my new earned income. I bought an iPod. Its even better than I thought it would be to own one. Its such a cool little gadget. I didnt buy the one I wanted which would have cost me about $400, so I got a mini. Luckily with the 12 hour days for 7 days a week, i dont have that much time to splurge and blow the rest.
My sister graduated from military boot camp and i'm so proud of her. She and her boyfriend Normand have a wedding coming up so that is gonna be a real special event. I may even buy a real digital camera. My brother is packing up to move to the East Coast. I'm sad and happy at the same time. Sad that i wont see him as much. Happy because he'll be. We celebrated my grandfathers birthday back on the 13th. Relatives came out of the woodworks like roaches. It was damn bizarre. But fun nontheless. I enjoyed seeing my cousins and aunts. I got sick of them after about 2 hours. But it was only for a day and really not that bad.
