I went over to Antonia's yesterday to hang out with her. She's a good friend to have here in H-town and I'm glad I meet her. She, Joe, thier daughter Alyssa, and of course Ambrose has really helped to make things better here for me. It might even be what I needed to make Houston really feel like home, friends of course is what I'm talking about. Yeah I had people I talked to at work, here before but they where all way to bussy to became real friends. Antonia has made the time, but the funny thing about it is we really didn't have to try to hard on building a friendship it just happened.
I've never really been the type to hang out with other girls much, I have had a few female friends (not inclueeding my sisters the friendships there is a differnt story), but those friendships I always had to work really hard to have. I think it's because I've always made friends with the girls that I didn't trust or really even liked as a person first. I don't know.
The best thing about being friends with Antonia is having some one out side the house to talk to and a place to go to get away form every thing. I really hope that I can get my house in order so I can have then same thing for her a place to go to get away.
Then there are the guys Ambrose and Joe. They are cool too. I hope that with time I can build close friendships with them, too.
