I was mortal once, but events have made me the Deadric Prince of Madness.

While inspecting my realm I found a skeleton sitting upon a mushroom tree. I asked myself what it might be doing up there, and with no clear answer decided to ask it. It wore Deadric armour covering all but it's skull. As I approached it turned to me and asked where Sithis was. I told him and as he stood to leave, he handed me a dusty old journal. He had written in it, and I suppose he expected me to do the same.
