Yesterday I saw Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band. heart

One hell of a concert, that's for sure. Other musicians in the band are Billy Squier, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Gary Wright, and Hamish Stuart. 3nodding It was rock and roll at it's finest. heart Ringo called to the crowd "What's my name?" and after we finished screaming "RINGOOO!" he said "It just makes you feel good, doesn't it?". rofl Later on in the night, Billy said "What's my name?" too, to less enthusiastic response. rofl T'was still hilarious. Half the audience was good and drunk, though, so that may've been part of it. :/
The one song I went nuts for was (obviously) "Yellow Submarine". Ringo said as an intro for it "If you don't know this one, you're at the wrong venue." to which I lol'd. xd I stood up like everyone else and screamed the words with my mom. rofl Cuz we're cool like that. My dad really liked "Stroke Me, Stroke Me" too. 3nodding Billy Squier's a badass. rofl I also really liked Colin Hay! I didn't know he's a member of Men at Work! whee And you all know about me and 80's bands. heart Colin did a lot of play on the syllables of "Ohio" for the yodeling parts. 3nodding A very nice touch. Edgar Winter was a badass too! 3nodding The crowd went gaa-gaa for "Frankenstein". His intro for it was "Are you ready for the monster?!" like a true rocker. 3nodding
I can now tell anyone who'll listen that I was within 600 yards of Ringo Starr. 3nodding heart I'll check that off my list of awesome once in a lifetime things I've done in my life. xd
