My mind is terrified
My blood turns to ashes
My soul scatters

And my heart stops beating

A tremor travels through my body
Like 10,000 volts of electricity through my chair
Each hair stands stiff on end

My breathing ceases
Light and darkness collide
My bones seem to disappear

I'm afraid of being alone
Yet I almost feel selfish
But the fear of life without you
Kills me ever so slowly;

My life without you
Is a life not worth living
Don't force me to let go
Don't leave me behind

I know you're tired--so am I
But we can't give in
We have to keep going
Or else it will never stop

So take my hand again
Let me hold you closer
Because the day that I can move on without you
Just doesn't exist at all
