Well, well, journal readers...

Today my finger hurts. It was torn open in a biking accident on Thursday. See, I had gotten my bike back from the bike shop on Wednesday night. I'd been riding my brother's bike to Hidden Pond before, since I needed to bike there. Now, I was coming up from the street onto the sidewalk, and usually I slow down and turn to avoid hitting a mailbox. It should be noted that my brother's bike has better brakes than mine. So I didn't brake enough, and the handlebar clipped the mailbox. So I was sprawling on some random person's driveway (no, they didn't come out) and as I got up, I saw that my right little finger was cut open.

For those who think I was lost in thought at the time, you are actually incorrect. My thoughts at the time went along the lines of "Crap, there's the mailbox, brake and turn... brakes? Not going to slow me down enough....? Oh, shi-" and then I hit the ground.

Anyway, today I had fencing. It was a bit hard to do some things, since it hurt to have my finger scrape against the gloves. But I'm alive, and my finger still seems to be attached, so I should be fine.

In conclusion, LEGOs are made of plastic.
