"I've never seen such a terrified look on someone before....are you sure he's still alive?" Frauden asked, looking at Caliban. "I can still hear his heart beating...just...wait. He'll get up....I know it." Cali said triumphantly. Master? Mother? Father? Sis? Did I do good? Did I do what I was supposed to? I give credit to those who make killing their job because it's not easy...the image of Master still plagues itself in my mind...I even made Mooncica blow up a mountain....and now I'm making the others worry...I want to get up, I want to move but something won't let me...I think it's...um....fear. Shinto's ears twitched at the sight of seeing his original Master worry. "Please don't cry...Merlon-sama is going to be alright just wait for him okay? And when he wakes up...you can give him a biiiiiiig hug to make him feel better~!" Shinto said, happily wagging his tail. Merlow petted the cat demon's head and smiled,"Thanks Shinto...I feel much better now." Shin took Merlow's hand and tugged,"Come on!! Lady Asami and Dirce wanted to show me the spring flowers! We can go pick some for Merlon! Come on!" he said, dragging her away. It was night time when Merlon awoke from his trance, every one had long been asleep. He looked down to see that his clothes had been changed, he actually gave a sigh of relief. But he needed to get some air. So he made his way outside and walked far behind the castle. Just as he walked up a hill a figure came into his vision. He looked up to see Caliban actually looking across the spanning ocean. "Mama....it's been awhile eh? But I finally came home like I promised! Only thing is that I have to leave soon even though I don't want to. You must've seen all the bad things that happened right? Thanks for giving back my forgotten brother though....but....I'm worried about someone. He seems really scared since his teacher died...So I figured out that...I'd make a grave site for that man too. Obviously Merlon saw good in this man till the very end so I guess I should too." he said aloud. Merli climbed up the hill, watery eyes and all,"Did you really do that?" Merlon asked. He actually scared the dog demon so much he jumped. "Aah! Oh...Merlon..hello!" Caliban then bowed his head again,"Mama....this is my friend Merlon." Merlon bowed his head and smiled,"Hello Miss....er.....Mama! I hope Caliban hasn't been distorting me to much...anyways, thank you for letting Cali be in this world...he's been very helpful. Rest in Peace Mama...." he whispered. "You didn't have to do that Merlon..." "It'll make me feel better...so, is that where Master is?" he asked, pointing at the rock. Caliban nodded,"Yea...you were holding his body so tightly...and the look you had on your face, it was like you hadn't realized what happened...are you okay to get up?" "Yes, I just have a killer headache though. I just had to get out..." Caliban placed down red roses at his mother's grave and the two walked to Alistair's. "You are so loyal...how could you still see the light in this guy? I mean he took you from your parents and killed them....then he tried to trick and later kill you! How could you forgive him??" Caliban couldn't help but ask. Merlon looked ahead and watched as the ocean waves danced across the sand. "Because.....if it was a different circumstance...a different world...a different lifetime....he would probably have been my real father. I know it sounds strange but...Master...no...Alistair fell because of one thing, being human. His greed and envy got the best of him...and I have a feeling that my Father tried stopping him. But it was too late...His heart was consumed, it wasn't until we fought on the mountains did I realize this. I had to go at him like he needed to die. And so...this is the end result..." he said, shivering. As the cliff overlooked the beach Merlon got down on his knees and prayed out loud. "Master...my Master....I promise....I'll defeat that woman. I'll become the person you wanted me to become, I'll reach my potential. And one day when I find it...I'll come back here....I'll pray at your gravestone and tell you everything that I learned....I promise you...now please rest Master..." He then pulled out Mooncica and lightly let her tip touch the soil surrounding the grave site. A single sprout emerged from the place that Mooncica touched. Then using his staff as a chisel he wrote on the stone. 'Magical Commander Alistair, a great magician, but an even greater father.' As the two walked away the Prince asked,"So...what did you plant?" Merlon shrugged,"I'm not sure...I just know it was all the magic I had left and something that came from my heart...so..is everyone worried?" Cali nodded,"Yea...that look that you had was pretty scary....even Ordell was worried. And then that barrier you made, you were really scared, I think you should try and lay down..." "Y-Yeah....I'll do that..." he said before going an opposite direction in the castle. Merlon walked into a room he had been curious about earlier and sat down on a stool and looked at a certain object. He tilted his head and nervously placed his hand on it,"So this is a...p....pia...piano? I remember my old music teacher would play this...and then Master too....I didn't think they'd exist in this time..." Merlon said, lifting up the cover, exposing all of the keys. His eyes twinkled as he stared at all of the keys."Master...Master....Master..." he kept on whispering as his body gave a shake. The poor child was still in so much shock, unfortunately all he did was simply deny. Nervously Merlon put his finger down on a single key and became mesmerized by it's sound. Through the entire night he played the same note until he became lost in his own past memories. Thus causing him to actually fall asleep whispering,"Master...Master..."

He didn't come out of the room until his own sister dragged him out,"Merlon....I think you need to relax...you need to stay in here for awhile. Please try and get better okay? We're worried about you. Just try sleeping. Please?" his sister begged. Merlon lifelessly shook his head,"No...If I do...Master will yell at me..." Merlow quickly dragged Asami out of bed and said,"Please! Do something!" Of course she complied by placing her own magic within Mooncica. "Merlon, can you hear me?" she asked. Merlon nodded and with iced eyes looked at Asami,"Yes?" "I want you to hold onto Mooncica and never let her go, understand? That's an order!" she said with a pout, placing the staff back in his hands. Merlon instantly drifted off to sleep but still his sister worried for him. "There must be a way to make him happy again.." she said. "Hm...well....Ordell said that Sir Lathan's children were both born during Winter right? Maybe we could hold a late birthday party for you two, it would be nice for both of you~" "You're kidding me...I mean neither of us have ever-" "No! No exceptions! Let's go!" Asami said, dragging off Merlow. That whole day every member of the 'family' had gone out and tried thinking off what to get the sleeping warrior. "Hm....I think Merlon should get something that he could reflect on, I think he likes that kind off stuff." Cali commented. "Hm...I think I've got it! Ordell, come with me! Merlow go get those things you were telling me about earlier, okay?" And so the group split apart and wrapped up Merlon's presents. "Now for Merlow...I think that we should go to Merlon for this." said Shinto. "Are you insane? It's not safe to wake him yet..." Ordell objected. "Just for a little while?" Shinto asked, batting his eyelashes to the Holy Mother. "Oi...alright, it's been a few hours, let's just give him a gift and he can tell us what to get her." So the group walked back to the castle and wrapped up the gifts." The group crowded around his bed,"Well....look big brother, look what everyone got for you!" Merlon tilted his head and unwrapped the gifts. One was a journal and the other was a pack of colored pencils and crayons. Merlon just stared at them for awhile Oh my God...that's right these things are just being made...but I have to accept them! "Thank you sooo much guys! I'll draw all of you guys right now!" he said happily. A few minutes passed and Merlon had written on the first page,'Hello my name is Merlon and these are my friends...' and along with those words was a crudely drawn picture of himself. On the other side was a picture of all the rest of the group. "And we figured we could give pieces of our things so that you'd always have a piece of us with you forever!" Cali said, happily wagging his tail. The Prince handed him a pendant with the royal seal, Asami handed over the cross that symbolized her position, Yael gave him an hourglass filled with the sand from home, Ordell gave him his MG badge and Shinto had given him his original collar. Merlon turned all of the objects flat and put them inside f his new journal,"There...no I'll always remember each of you." he said with a smile. Merlon looked at his sister and then everyone else. "Nobody knows what to get my sister when it's all so simple~" he said, placing his finger near her heart and then flicking everyone in the forehead. "You get her something...from the heart~" Merlon said, opening his hands to expose a tiny paper heart that molded into a bracelet with a ruby heart attached to it. "Merlon...this...this is...beautiful, but how?" she asked. "Because....I saw it in a dream....too see what a person truly is...who they really are...you have to look inside of their heart!" he explained. "Then Merlon....what's in your heart?" his sister asked. Merlon thought for a moment and smiled,"I'm just a normal 16-year old kid who can't see the wonderful family he has infront of him...Guys...thanks so much for making me feel better...especially you Merlow." "Tch don't get all mushy...Besides, you're my twin for God's sake...I can't just watch you be upset like that. You look much better with a smile on that face. I'll never give up on you Merlon....you are my everything."

This chap was a bit softer but I totally hated it! Anyway....drama/action picks up majorly in next chap so look forward to that~ Bye-bi!!!~
