I'm so darned angry right now at one of Gaia's mods for listening to two members who were trying to derail a thread, and indeed were blocked from the topic by the threads author because of what they were doing. I'm angry because they succeeded in doing just that, getting the thread ChatterBoxed. Why did the mod, who chatterboxed the thread, not see what they were doing and that there were still on topic discussions going on? Why did the mod listen to just the two that were blocked, who were deliberately trying to mess the thread up, instead of seeing that it was there fault for trying to derail the topic? I don't understand how Gaia works. I've posted a few serious topic threads in sections before and the members that come in butcher the thread and cast insults everywhere. When I blocked the trouble makers from topic and told a mod about it, they Chatterboxed my topic. Why? I did what I was told to do by the Rules...I blocked the trouble makers from topic. But I also lost my thread as well...to the ChatterBox. I stopped posting threads because of this and now I just reply to topics posted. Alot of members I've come into contact with have stopped making topics because too many other members come in and butcher them and try to get them ChatterBoxed. A Gaian mod suggestion to me..."Start a Guild." The whole point of being on Gaia is to reach as many as possible with ones ideas. To share these ideas with others and have the surity that the mods of the site will protect our threads from those who try to disrupt it. I think members who disrupt threads should be ChatterBoxed! And mods who don't do their job, except to ChatterBox a thread when the author tries to get something done, should not be mods at all. Thank you, and GoodNight to this rant. Ira.
