You were the best thing that happened to me,
You were my knight in shining armor,
You wiped away my tears,
and kissed away my fears,
You showed me how good life could be,
You opened up your heart to me,
You made me feel beautiful on my worst day,
You always knew the right things to say,
I gave you my whole heart,
I dont know how something so perfect could fall apart,
You showed me what love felt like,
Everything felt so right,
I have you only in my memory now,
I wish you could forgive me somehow,
I cant tell you how much i still love you,
I cant help but wander if you think about me too,
I guess im writing this so one day youll know,
I miss you
You called yesterday to basically say,
that you care for me but that you're just not in love.
Immediately I pretend to be feeling similarly
and led you to believe I was ok
I'm going through extremes to prove I'm fine without you
But in reality,
I'm slowly losing my mind
Underneath the guise of a smile,
Im dying inside
Friends ask me how I feel
and I lie convincingly
Because I dont want to reveal that Im suffering
So I wear my disguise
Until I go home at night
And turn down all the lights
and then BREAKDOWN and cry.
If ever a day goes by,
That i dont say i love you.
Just know for sure,
I always will and do.
I might not show it, sometimes
but I really do care.
Even if it may happen
that my feelings, I dont share
So often do I wonder
How long we'll really be as one.
Forever, I would say,
with the amount we have-and fun.
I really do love you,
you mean alot to me.
Sometimes I show it less,
But still forever-we will be
I lie here in my bed thinking of you,
Not knowing what's next, and what to do
I love you so much, its hard to explain.
I just hope it will never end, never bring that pain.
When I'm with you, I'm all happy inside
You are the sweetest guy, and so very kind.
I want to let you know how much you mean to me,
and by writing this poem, I hope you see
That no matter what, for you,
I'll always be there
And I'll always show you how much i care
