How things are
My day to day activities, thoughts and feelings.
Do you believe in Karma?
Ok, since I was raised I was always taught to treat others with as much respect as I wished to receiver in return. I've always played that part, unless it is someone that isn't even worth my time; then I could careless what type of respect they show me, because I won't be around them long enough to care what is said.

Other then that, I was always the one of those people who took the saying "It's better to give then to receive" to heart. Growing up, whenever friends needed money, I would give them my last dollar, without asking for them to pay me back. If a friend needed an outfit to wear to school or to go out on the town, I would let them go through my closet and pick out an outfit and deem it theirs.

It's just in my family to help others. Sometimes we push it to the extremes such as giving someone a place to stay, when your significant other might not like the living styles of the person you are letting live with you, rent free. But, that's just how my family and I are. I would do anything in my power for anyone of my friends and also do almost anything for a complete stranger, such as giving them a ride to somewhere if they are hitch hiking or giving them a few bucks if they appear to be homeless and could use a good meal.

So why is it, with all the goodness that I spread, I'm the one who gets ran over by a forklift and nearly kills me? Is that God's way of a practical joke? If it was, I must say I didn't find it very funny.

Now, the dilemma I'm in is with my house. My roommate doesn't do much, but it's fun to have someone around that you can chill with you know. So, since he doesn't have any real responsibilities, I had put him in charge of paying the bills. Well, things couldn't have come at a more worse time really. My mother and my ex-wife both went into the hospital and that cost me a fortune paying those bills. And to my surprise, when I finally get back home, I see my mail stacked up and it's bills that are 3 months old. Apparently my sorry roommate hasn't payed the rent since we moved in.

You think that would be punishment enough, but unfortunately it's not. The other day, I was driving home from the store and the clutch went out. I was super pissed and couldn't believe that this type of stuff is happening to me.

Why is life so mean?
