Friday i left to go camping with my youth group biggrin biggrin . We went up to Ft. Stevens. It was so much fun! Ft. Steevens is right by the beach! The people that went was: Carl and Theresa (youth leaders) Kevin and Richelle (youth leaders kids) Derrick, Hannah, and Angelina (theyre all siblings) Katrina (Derricks friend) Adam, and me heart heart ! It was awesome! So the first day we got there we set up camp. Or more like the guys did ha ha rofl . But they insisted on doing it themselves so it was ok! Us girls just sat and watched. So they got camp set up in less than an hour.
Then Hannah, Angelina, and I walked around and found this playground whee . We messed around there for a while (it was actually kinda fun ha ha 4laugh ) After a bit we found these trees behind the play structure. They were really good cdlimbing trees! So we hung on those for a bit then Hannah found this path leader to only God knows where. So of course we followed it sweatdrop . We got to this point and realized it was getting kinda late and probably time for dinner so we headed back.
When we got back they had started a fire and had chairs sitting around the fire. we grabbed some chairs and sat down too. (well duh) I ended up sitting by Adam and Kevin. We sat there and talked for a while when Carl bbq hot dogs. (Btw for people who dont know i absolutley hate hot dogs! I cannot stand them!) I was really hungry so i ate one and some chips.
After everyone was done eating Hannah, Angelina and I decided to go back and see how far we could go on that path. Adam and Katrina decided to go with us. OH Adam is 16 and Katrina is 15. And this time we brought flashlights. We again messed around on the play structure for a bit. Then we showed them the path ninja . Katrina ditched us and went back to the fire stare . While Adam and us went down the path. We passed the point of where we had previously stopped when Adam's one and only flashlight died! So no one else could figure out how to get back except for me. So of course me, the clumsy person, had to go first with no light. I tripped over so many things. But everytime Adam caught me so that was alright. (Adam is really really stong) We got back to our campsite and just hung out around the fire and finally went to bed.
