Chapter 2 Part II: Crazy Nights
CHAPTER 2 PART 2:

“I was starting to get the munchies and was wondering if the two of you wanted to order Domino’s or something? Beth and I have already decided what we wanted.“ She smiles adoringly at Jon and the urge to punch her increases, but before he could say anything I cut in.

“That’s so sweet Joyce. Pizza sounds great. Why don’t you and Beth order in our room because I was kinda talking to Jon and it was important. I know you didn’t mean to interrupt us because that would have been rude and bitchy and you’re not either are you?” I smile winningly at her and no trace of my true feelings shine through but its obvious to Jon and Beth that I am not happy with the interruption. Beth gulps at the tone of voice I use, it was too happy for me. I’m never that happy. With a wince she tugs on Joyce’s arm.

“C’mon. I know what Skye wants already, and you can order for Jon right?” When Joyce nods her head, she pulls her out of the chair. “Then they can join us when they are finished talking. Really, its no big deal since it takes Domino’s at least half an hour to get here. Lets go order while they talk. It can’t take much longer right?” She was giving me as much time as she could and for that I was thankful. She was a cool roomie and I’m glad I had such a good friend.

“Well…I guess that would work.” There was obvious reluctance in her voice but between Beth’s insistent pulling and me practically shoving her out the door, the two of them walked back downstairs. I sat down with a hmph and gazed around the room.

“That was mean.” It was a simple sentence and should have sounded disapproving that I was just so disrespectful of his girlfriend but all I heard was an odd mix of pride and approval. I tried to hold in a beaming smile as I replied.

“Yup, but she’s an inconsiderate b***h who can’t deal with the fact that you were helping a friend. Since that’s all we are. You’re choice.” I stood up again, feeling restless as the mood had been utterly destroyed and I wasn’t feeling talkative anymore. “Why don’t we just go down before you girlfriend dies from loneliness even though you’ve only been apart for like half an hour. I wouldn’t want something so tragic to befall her.” The sarcasm was blatant but he chose, quite wisely, to ignore it. With a sardonic smile and an angry flourish I yanked the door open and swished outside into the hallway where I stood, tapping my foot impatiently even though he was right behind me. My eyes were a stormy sea, the waters turning tempestuously between the white capped swells. He heaved a heavy sigh and stalked past me, slamming the door behind him in frustration.

“Are all girls like this? Or is it just you that makes me so freaking crazy?” I didn’t answer the question, the answer should have been obvious. “Guess it’s just you. Pain in my a**…that’s what you are. But….” he shook his head, his hair swinging side to side with the motion. “Never mind, you don’t need to know.” Finally, I looked up at him. I didn’t have a choice, he was a good foot taller then my 5’ frame. When he saw the look, he smirked and started to walk again. “Forget it. I’m not telling you. And no amount of pouting, whining, crying, or anything else is going to make me tell you so just deal with it.” With that said, I stopped pouting. He was the only person who wouldn’t do I want when I pouted and it bugged me. I’m not sure why it bugged me, it just did.

“Fine. Be an a*****e like usual.” I smacked his arm and stuck my tongue out at him which wasn’t the most mature thing to do, but I wasn’t feeling quite mature at that moment. He laughed and ruffled my hair affectionately and I couldn’t help but giggle. He just had that affect on me. We walked slowly downstairs in a companionable silence until we got to my dorm room and then I went back to being the loner I am naturally. I sat down at my computer and popped in a movie, completely ignoring the guest in our room since Joyce and I were not particularly getting along at the moment and Beth had been driving me crazy for the last few days. It was a no win situation for me but I was used to it by this point. I shrugged and made myself comfortable, only looking up when someone set my kickers down in front of me and I smiled brilliantly at them before realizing it was the b***h. The smile quickly turned into a frown and I said “thank-you” quite sullenly. Without any further acknowledgment to her, I turned back to my movie.

I enjoy this story and your insight. Do you know where your going to take this as far as the characters go, or are you just going to let it develope on it's own as you write?
I usually have a basic plot before I set out to write. But the characters tend to add their own flair as I go.
Just wondering.

I have a vague idea of where its going to go between Skye and Jon. The story will end just past an affair between the two characters..I think. Im not too sure. Im still letting it develop as it will..

Thank you for your words! ^_^
