Well i was on TekTek and i had the thought on some of the Vampire Genesis books i'm writing and when it came to the book Terra; i discovered that i could write something about the gods and use TekTek to create the avatars for them so i had some visual representation of them. Its not just gonna be Terra though, i've decided to create avatars for every character in each book as a sort of profile and character description, so with each book and each new character i'll write a new entry to describe them.
Anyway, onto the three gods, i'm gonna start with Zaxoths (pronounced Zacks-off) who in the story is the Terran god of war who watched over the island and protected the peoples from harm. Married to the Goddess Naharah, he was both strong and couragous that would do anything for the island of Terra. He was depicted as being both good and evil, embodying light and darkness along with fire and ice. He wields both a sword of ice and a sword of fire. His hair was always a blaze and on his back he had a pair of wings made from the shadows of the Terran underworld. An almost acurate picture of him is shown below:
The next was Naharah; the goddess of healing and light who was called upon to bring forth a cure for any plague or injury that had befallen the people of Terra that was beyond the aid of the islands Shamans. She was depicted as a slender, blonde haired woman with ice blue eyes that could cool the heart of even the most tempermental warriors including her husband Zaxoths. She was depicted as a woman wearing a white skirt and bodice with a pair of golden sandals and a red and black wrap that covered her arms along with a book floating infront of her, in which she learnt the ways of heeling.
The final god was Kralkos who was the Terran god of knowledge and time. He was considered to be the father of the island of Terra, and the one who shaped the known world at the time. He was depicted as a less muscular version of Zaxoths but none the less powerfull. He was seen to be in front of what was considered the time piece to his followers. His black hair and pale skin were a sharp contrast to the bronze time piece and his bronzed spear. He kept 3 pets with him; all were huge black dogs, each one representing time in hours, days and seconds and were said to bark as one at the passing of each full moon.
And there you have it, the history of the 3 gods of Terra. Legend has it that they created three different weapons: The Book of Ages, Spear of Destiny and the Sword of Battle. It was said that these three weapons created a cataclismic event which engulf the Island of Terra and the surrounding countries during a brutal war that lasted for more than 400 years.
The aftermath of that battle is still felt to this day as another legend arose from the 3 gods that as punishment for their recklesness in creating the weapons; they were banished to the Nether realm where they mutated and became three very different nameless demons. Zaxoths became the Demon Primarch of Bloodlust and Battle. Naharah became the Demonette Primarch of Pleasure and Extasy where as Kralkos who became the Demon Primarch of mutation and change. Each one of them haunt the Nether Realm, looking to mutate all who enter the domain so they can build up an either bigger army to storm the real world, and take revenge on all those that imprisoned them, which means they are trying to destroy the world.
