There is a group of friends who fail at everything in life. One is a failed magician who gets no business. Another is a failure at his/her karate classes and is teased because of it. Another is a failure at swordsmanship because she thought it was the closest thing to a scythe. Another believes in magic summonings and people think she's a witch, etc.
THEY get sucked into another dimension where their powers surpass everyone elses and they are experts at what they do.
They go on a quest to return home. On the way.... uhh... people would challenge them and send.... droid clones to kidnapp us to run chemical tests to see why we're so strong o-o
And there is a particular group of assasssins that are interested in their skills

Other details: Being pretty much an oversized fairy put her in the shadows. Her being only the few left of her kind, she's pretty rare. Maybe the size of a five year old child. While Eff was too busy hiding from people who wanted to kill her because of her size and from people who wanted to capture and sell her, others were blossoming into unknown creatures. Sooner or later, harpy's and different types of magical flying creatures began to appear. Some scary, some not. But no matter what, Effie would always be who she was.
