When I look up at the night's sky in a new place I don't know
With the rain falling down on me, hiding the tears on my face
When the dark skies hide the circles under my eyes
When the moon's blurred light is all I see
When the sun is gone for me
When my dreams have fallen apart
When I have lost my friends
When I have lost all hope
When I am in the worst place I have ever been
When I can't hear the rain
When I have lost my voice
When I am numb
When I am broken
Is that when you will come for me?

Why can I never win?
I walked the streets alone with a silent girl
Her true character will unfurl
I walked lost and abandoned
She chose this dark fate
Her senseless pride she could not negate
When "sorry" does not make up for what you have done
When pride and greed take their hideous form
When thinking of friends is not the norm
When she does not know when to say help instead of sorry
When you are punished by choices that are not yours
When you are forces to do these chores
When you see she true personality
When you start to hate the reality
When I was alone in a dark place I did not know nobody came for me
