That's not true... Many want me here

Darkness -
You believe them? You are too pathetic, do you really think they want you?

I -
What.. What do you mean? They've said so themselves. Why would they lie?

Darkness -
They want to watch you squirm, they do not care for you.
They only want to amuse themselves to see your hopes rise high then slam you down.

I -
No... No.. You're lying!!

Darkness -
I have been with you all your life. In the corner of your mind, to make sure you always have those doubts.
I am the one whom wants to protect you.
You have gone against my word already and look where you have ended up.

I -
I don't understand...

Darkness -
You were meant to be alone. Forever.
But you went against me and believed you were in love. You thought you were happy.
False emotions clouded your judgement and look.
You were tossed aside for something else. Something better.
And now you think it will all get better in time?

I -
But there are others... They love me I know it!! I just know they do... Why would they lie...?

Darkness -
You are such a waste. No one does. You should just give up now while you still have a chance.

I -
But.. How else can I be happy? Without someone to share it with...?

Darkness -
Do you honestly think someone would want to be with you? You do not need anyone else to make you happy.
This is all a game to them. Love is a game, and you are merely a pawn.
There are better out there for them, why would they waste their life with something like yourself?
Trust me, you are better off being alone.

I -
That way... I wouldn't be hurt.. No more pain.. No more suffering, my tears wasted on people who will never come back.. Alone.. Better off....

Darkness -
