Rest on Your Soul: Sakura generally appears to be a pleasant and kind young girl. Though at times she acts a bit serious when it comes to some things she has to do but at other times she acts like a totally different person, almost like she as split personalities (when she doesn’t). Also, for the most part she’d like to keep to herself, mostly when it comes to her past.
My True Roam: Growing up, Sakura ignored the fact that she could see spirits. All she wanted to do was live a normal life with her grandparents, since when she was younger her parents had dropped her off there and decided to leave her there and never return for her. For the most part, Sakura had blamed herself for her parents not coming to get her, but her grandparents had assured her that it wasn’t her fault at all. For the longest time, she had started to wonder what her grandparents had meant by that when they had said “it wasn’t her fault”. She wanted to look more into it, but couldn’t quite understand.
When she turned thirteen years old, she was still looking for the answers to why her parents had left her. In doing so she had stumbled upon something she probably shouldn’t have found in the first place. Before she had gotten a chance to look at it, her grandfather came into the room and took it from her. But she was curious to find out what it was, he had told her the story of the Quincy and the Soul Reapers. At that moment, she almost realized why she could see spirits then her grandfather and continued to tell her that she, herself was a Quincy and one of the few remaining in the world. The day she found out about the Quincy her grandfather had begun teaching her the ways of the Quincy (he being one himself).
It had taken until she was fifteen before she finally managed to handle her Quincy powers. Though, it wasn’t too long after she had that her grandfather had a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Though, it was too late for him and he had died on his way there. It was right then and there that Sakura had promised to herself to become a strong Quincy for her grandfather’s sake. So for the longest time she had believed that there weren’t many Quincy left so she wouldn’t have anyone to speak to about being one. Though for some reason that seemed to have changed when she had encountered Uryū Ishida.
It's In the League: Sakura is a Quincy. Like Uryū Ishida’s Quincy powers, hers too are inside of a relic somewhat like a cross on her left wrist in which her powers are located. Unlike the size of Uryū’s bow, hers is more of a medium size to go with her small frame, which makes it a bit lighter for her to hold for a long period of time.
