This is chapter one of my new book Highschool Secrets which is going to be a series of 4 books that go throughout the 4 years of highschool in which we start with Aaron our highschool cutie that's a huge nerd that seems to fit into the popular group.
Ok so, I may be a total nerd to the girls but at least I'm a total jock to the seniors at Jefferson High, and maybe I saw one of the most beautiful and smart girls on the face of the earth but, how the heck can I ask her out or at least speak to her?! Thats where my high school story starts, Meeting Alice.
So, as I was walking to the cafeteria talking to my freshman buds, I saw this girl standing on the edge of the room looking around nervously. When I realized how nervous this girl was, I pulled away from my friends conversation about hot chicks (blegh) and started towards the girl. As I inched closer and closer to her I realized how beautiful this girl was, She was wearing a yellow t-shirt with a black vest and checkered wristlets, arm wraps and a a black satin choker, with a black skirt and striped leggings and finished of with a yellow headband in her charcoal hair and bright tennis shoes. As I gaped while still walking then, Mason, the school bully (and senior) flashed up to the girl smirking and knocking down her books as the girl's eyes widened in terror at his monstrous size. My eyes flashed into slits as I started to walk even more quickly and then practically running now, I then dodged in between the girl and Mason. "Leave, Her, Alone." I growled. When Mason heard my voice he stared wide eyed into my eyes and backed away towards his other senior friends. When I turned around the girl was still shaking. "You okay?" I asked softly and she nodded. I picked up her books as I said this, "Whats your name?" I asked smiling warmly "Alice" She answered in an absolutely beautiful voice that matched her look. One of her books suddenly slipped from my arms and I grabbed it in a flash "nice to meet you Alice" I said grinning as I set the book on the pile "my name's Aaron" "Nice to meet you Aaron" She answered in a stronger voice, the nervousness vanishing quickly. "Why don't we sit down?" I suggested while guiding her to a nearby table and setting down her books carefully. "So Alice, is it your first day her at Jefferson?" I asked suddenly nervous "Yes, but I'm glad to have met you instead of some girly, girl I don't want to know what that senior would have done to me if you hadn't stepped in." She answered smiling with glistening teeth. I laughed "I'm glad you don't want to know, Mason's the bully of this school" She laughed then and as I listened carefully her laugh sounded like the bubbling giggle of a happy child mixed with chiming bells. My and her smiles turned into frowns as the 1st period bells rang. "Whats your first class?" I called after her, "Biology!" She yelled, As I thought and it clicked together I grabbed my book bag and ran up beside her "Same here" I grinned. Her eyes widened when she looked up at me "Really?" I just kept smiling "YES!" She exclaimed, "Now you can show me around instead of me getting stuck with some geek" She said while giggling. "Probably knowing Mr. Sclobalt" I said as we entered the class. "We're early" I said "so I see" she answered coolly. "so milady where shall we sit?" I asked waving my hand across the room. "in the back would be most enjoyable" She answered in the same cocky British accent. We headed towards the back and sat on the tall stools and started to chat before class started. When all the students started filing in with Mr. Sclobalt at the end we went silent waiting for the opportune to ask to give a tour. When the teacher started talking I started to zone out until I heard him say "Alice?" and I jumped to life "Yes sir?" I heard Alice answer, "Who would you like to give you a tour of the school?" the teacher asked "Could Aaron give me the tour?" She asked calmly "Why yes dear go ahead you two" he said as Alice and I both jumped up at the same time and almost ran from the room. "Hooky or really do a tour?" I asked excitedly "hmmmm..... Both?" she thought "how?" I said confusedly "stay at school but cut class of course" She said slyly grinning as I grinned with her. "Lets do it!" I agreed. So throughout the whole school say we played hooky around the school and talked of past experiences and exchanged emails and cell numbers. "So Aaron," She suddenly asked staring into my eyes with her bright blue ones. "Why did you stand up for me this morning?" I froze in place. "Because you looked so beautiful and kind" I answered blushing crimson and she smiled, "Well since you say that, do you wanna play real hooky and go on a little date?" she asked "really? with me?" I searched for the correct words "Sure!" I said without thinking. "Then lets go!" she answered.
