* - These two are actually connected, so the way it should be read is "There are a lot of people I want to become". Problem is, the sentence is broken up by the "Hop Step Jump" lines, so it's harder to piece together.
** - I believe this "just one" line is referring to having just one character, making a reference to the show and how the main character, Amu, has not the standard one, but rather three guardian characters.
