So I watched Journey To The Center Of The Earth today. To be honest, I was unsure of this movie, due to not caring much for Brendan Fraser.
Anyway... Brendan Fraser's character ends up having his nephew stay with him for about a week, while his mom looks for a new home in Canada (I don't recall her ever mentioning why they were moving there). During which, they rush off to check on some tremors in Iceland (Brendan's character's life work and something his nephew's father, Brendan's character's brother) went missing doing. They end up... in the center of the Earth, of course.
Without giving away too much more, it's actually a pretty good movie. Some comical scenes. To be honest, it's what I was expecting with any Brendan Fraser movie.
Would I recommend it? Worth at least a rental.
