ashes to ashes and dust to dust
this is the phrase of when you lose someone
is that why ashes are gray?
to resemble your misery?
is that why dust can fly away?
to resemble how people can lose another easily?
the preist looks so uncaring when he says this
but doesnt notice the sadness around them
the weight of your heart as it fell through you.
love and hate are a thin line
sorrow and depression are as well
to death do you part
who's to say when death shall claim its victim?
death is cruel.
death is uncaring
death is unspeakably impacting.
does death create angels?
are they looking down on us?
