So basically everyone should be able to tell by now that I'm extremely obsessed with Batman at the moment. Well, I draw a lot and recently the combination of the two has led to a lot of Batman themed drawings... A lot. It started with the Joker (one of my all time favorite Batman villains) and I've done scratchboards, sketches, and inked in drawings of him, some in comic book style and others focusing on the Heath Ledger version. I have about 7 right now, and this gave me an idea: why not fill up the portfolio my brother gave me with art like this? And rather than just doing the Joker, why not do sections devoted to some of Batman's most prominent foes?
This is a big project, so it will no doubt take me awhile. The Joker section will be finished after tonight, and next I plan to do my second favorite villain, the Scarecrow and also his other identity Dr. Jonathan Crane. I plan on doing movie versions of both characters from Batman Begins as well as comic book versions. Some of the other villains I want to do are the Riddler (third favorite), Two-Face (fourth favorite), and so on. And yes, I plan to put pictures of all of them in here, so be patient for me to finish!
