The stench of blood and burnt epidermis permeated the room as a man in a navy blue trench coat sat upon a steel chair in a dark corner of the room. The room was empty except for the a solid oak wood door and two sullen individuals that lay dismembered on the floor, their blood and entrails painted the walls like a sick demented rendition of Picasso’s abstract paintings. Implanted in the cranium of the corpse nearest to the door was a knife with a German phrase engraved on the handle “With Honor and Loyalty”, the arms of the other individual were as if something had torn his arms from their sockets. As the man sat in the corner on a steel folding chair he fiddled with what appeared to be the index finger from one of the corpses on the floor. On the finger miraculously stayed a diamond encrusted, gold ring with a crest of a snake eating its tail, infinitum. He removed the ring from the appendage and shoved it in a hidden pocket in his coat. A word quietly escaped his lips, “Done.” The man rose from the chair and stepped over the corpses stopping at the door pull the knife from the man’s skull with dull and quick, thunk. With a fluid apathetic motion he pulled from his coat a Steil Hand Granate and tossed it into the room, the door slamming behind him.
