How is it that society believes that actors are 'the s**t'? I mean, actors are more famous than all most world leaders. They're richer than almost all citizens of any other career. Comedians aren't much different, really.
What are actors and comedians really? They're no more than evolved forms of the jesters. Jesters were the bottom of the rank, the jesters and fools weren't special. They weren't highly regarded. They were shameful positions.
How did we turn that around?
How did we make it so that a jester seems more important than a ruler? How the hell did that ever happen?
