some things to get off my chest in poetry

he sent you

You entered my life with no intent,
A gift from God, was you he sent.
With thoughtful words you entered my heart,
Admiration and friendship was bound to start.
Sitting there lonely I had no clue,
Till I turned around and there stood you.
That night together our two souls met,
Now this is something I can not forget.
Sitting here tonight I wonder where you are,
And why fates wishes are keeping you so far.
I was down and my heart was breaking,
You lifted me up and left me anticipating.


Pieces of Us

So close, and yet so far away,
Some special piece of you decided to stay,
I hold it close to me when the day is long,
And squeeze it tightly when it's hard to go on.
Though I may go a few days without talking to you,
That little piece of you reminds me that our love is true.
The day you left I thought our bond would be broken,
But looking back I find it's only grown,
Though the words remain unspoken.
The beauty you possess still haunts me,
The faith you had in me is stll alive,
Despite the distance,
My heart still thrives.
The one thing I've noticed that seems to be gone,
Is that little piece of me that used to know where I belonged.
So if you ever find yourself all alone,
And still feel me by your side,
You'll know that somehow across the miles
Two pieces of us have found a way to survive


US against Distance
I am here and you were there,
Two different world.. far from one another,
Beyond time and distance, across mountains and seas,
We created a world.. A place for you and me...

Billions of people are living in this planet,
But in our world, you're my heaven and your love is my earth,
Your touch is my air I take in my every breath,
And through the magic of your smile, I can get enough strength...

The warmth of your touch it serves as my shield,
In your arms baby, I feel no fear,
The beauty of life, it all reflects in your eyes,
I can see no pain, no more cold lonely nights..

The power of your voice can give me courage,
There's so much to look forward to, a life worth living to embrace,
With each caress, a promise that we will pass all the tests,
because there's nowhere I'd rather be than in this paradise we made....

You and Me, and the dreams we built,
Hand in hand we'll make it real,
Wrapped with love, we won't shed a tear,
And if we do, together.. stronger.. we'll stand still...

Guided by heavens and angels above,
You and Me, we will never drift apart,
As long as you got me and as long as I got you,
This world me made baby, will stay as good as new....
