Everyone deserves a moment
where their dreams do come true
underneath a starlight sky
beneath a clear full moon

A storybook moment, for a time broken heart
whose life has dealt with so much pain,, they cannot play the part
of either the beautiful princess, or the knight in armor clad
an existence almost broken, in the wake of a life, so sad

but hear me now, thy broken one, who thinks it matters not
whether you stay around this world, or decide to depart
i will always have a hand, a shoulder and an ear,
whether i be far away, or whether i be near
so gazed once more, into the sky, that shimmers with hopes and dreams
and tell me that just maybe this time, it's as simple as it seems
And just for once, let down your guard, and join in joy and laughter
and i will do my very best
to give you a happy ever after
