The Acathies.
History;
The Acathies were created as counterpart of the Lockjaws. They were made to be an almost exact copy of their creator, even more then humans were. For many generations they fought side a side with the Angels against the Forces of the King of Hell. The Acathies themselves were seen as the ones that in the end brought the scales back in balance.
But their union with the Angels wasn’t something that was meant to be. For in the end, the Angel Gabriel cast the Lockjaws into the mortal plain and the Acathies were forced to follow. Since then the Acathies have been fighting to keep the Lockjaws separated and the Mortals safe, in hope that their creator will take them back into Heaven’s arms.
Abilities;
The Acathies have wings in various colors and shaped, hence the confusion many mortal make with pixies, fairies and angels. Some Acathies don’t have wings and they are considered as the lessers. There have been rumors that some of the Acathies can use the elements to their will.
They however are quick-footed and have a wide arsenal of healing and holy forces. Their defences are quite high, but with some their attack power is lacking. But thanks to their speed and agility they can evade most of the damage dealt to their psyche.
Classes;
Acare
The Acare is also considered the Leader of the Acathies. Although it isn’t something you can see when they are born (as all Acathies are born wingless), when they are a year old the Acare shows strange patterns on their wrists, ankles, heart, along their spines and sometimes even their forehead. The markings will fade as they grow older, but in their rage the markings can glow up and push themselves to the surface.
Their wings are usually feathered with hooks on the joints. Their feathers are normally black with a mix of silver and gold.
Idar
An Idar is the traditional Acathy, their wings are simple and have something from an eagle. Their wings aren’t made to impress but for speed. Their build in general hides the raw power slumbering underneath the surface and their defenses are one of the most advanced.
The Idar is used in nearly every situation and a human is more capable finding an Idar then they are finding a Lockjaw.
Kiri
A Kiri is known as the Acare’s shadow. They are the protector of the Acare and sometimes even used as assasins. The Kiri have an endless loyalty and many have been known to kill themselves, instead of betraying their Acare.
Their wings are scaled and a solid black. They are silent and hard to find, especially since their numbers are as many as the Aquen.
Pyri
The Pyri is known as the power-house of the Acathies. Although they lack in speed their raw power and incredible defenses make them twice the danger then the quick-footed Acathies. They are known to fight with only their bare fists and on occasion have been seen wielding a blade.
The Pyri are temperamental and sometimes considered as predictable. Caution is adviced when approaching the Pyri as their only weakness is usually heavily armored and protected, it also varies from Pyri to Pyri.
Their wings are a mix of scales and feathers in various shades of red and orange, making it almost appear like the wings themselves are set a flame.
Aquen
The Aquen is not known for their strength, defence or speed. But rather for their abilities in healing and some have the ability of premonition. Aquen are almost just as rare as the Pyri and successfully finding one is even more difficult.
Aquen are generally the most peaceful of the Acathies and have the tendency not to hurry or panic in a time of stress. Some might even say that the Aquen are also the most annoying of Acathies as they are sometimes too calm and have the unearthly tendency to day-dream on the most unluckiest moments.
Their feathered wings are in several shades of blue with the occasional white feathers scattered amongst them. Their wings sometimes look even more like ice then water and they take great pride in it.
Torein
The Torein are known for their quick-feet and sharp mind. Their aim is incredible and they usually wield a bow and arrow. The occasional Torein carries a whip, throwing daggers or shuriken. They are fast and hard to target, sadly their defense is not much higher then the Aquen and might end up taking fatal wounds in a fight.
Their wings are neither feathered or scaled and are best described as the wings of a butterfly. Each Torein has it’s own colors and pattern in the wings.
Luto
The Luto is considered the care-taker of the Acathies. They place the new Acare into a stasis until the old one dies. The Luto also takes care of the younger Acathies, being teachers and trainers. Luto is balanced like the Idar and has only been intensified by the fact they don’t carry any wings at all. Most of the time they are considered the lessers of the Acathies, but their wingless state hides the fact that they can still be impressive in their own right.
