Being abandoned at an early age, after the birth of her younger sibling. And found by one of the Priests, that later on found out about her abilities.
He had been responsible for her education and growth into the woman she now is.
She had been in training at the temple in her village, when a sudden attack wiped the entire village of the maps. Her summoning Shiva, who was also her first and only summoning present at that time, did the only thing she could do and encased her summoner into a block of ice. Arise has been in that block of ice until someone wakes her up. Until then she has been floating between her memories.
When released by a group of Acathies, they discovered her wings and made her the new Acare. She doesn't understand the raging war between the two races and doesn't care about the bet going on between the two rulers.

His mother had a Lycan grandfather, he only inherited the speed and strength from the Lycan race. His great grandfather was immune to silver and had only a weakness to gold. John luckily doesn't have that weakness but he does have the ability to change into a wolf and the rare ability to carry pups. He was trained from an early age how to hunt Lycans and how to either disable or kill them. It was also because of his natural aptitude for Lycans that he has become the Village's prized hunter.
By nature he hates killing, but it's one of the few things he is good at. Now he is on a journey to learn more about himself and hopefully find something else he is good at.
He spends most of his time playing music and is not at all dominating, but actually quite submissive.
