the boy took the girl into a clearing in the middle of a forest with in seconds of his first step onto the street were the man had tried to shoot the girl. the boy sat the girl down. 'are you alright?' he said. 'yes i am fine.' was her answer. 'ok. i am going to tell you what i am now. i...i used to be human. back in the 1700s anyway. i got very ill. i was going to die. but a man....whose name i cant tell you, took me. he.....turned me into what he was. he saved my life by giving me enternity. do you understand?' he said very softly.

'i...i think i understand. you're not human but you once were?' she said, slightly confused. 'correct' he said with a bit of a smirk. his eyes had turned to a onyx specked with gold. he smiled faintly. 'i am.....a vampire. i wont hurt you. i dont drink human blood. well i do but i get it from a blood bank.' he looked down at his feet looking disappointed at himself. the girl stood up. 'you are really a vampire? i mean...i always knew you were different from other people but....wow.' she said. she walked toward the boy. her legs began to give away and she ended up landing against the boy. the boy caught her easily.

'are you scared of me?' he wispered into her ear. 'no....no im not afraid. not of you or what you are. i know you wouldnt hurt me. if wanted to hurt me youve had a thousand chances to and you havent yet.' she responded.
