Hey! No one like, ever reads my journal. It's depressing. I have a vocab test this friday, and I shall compose a story from the words and idioms! The words/idioms will be underlined. Yay!
The distraught and pernicious culprit was under duress. His egregious and flagrant act was tolerated by the city's mayor, for the mayor in question wanted to question the notorious criminal. The meeting was clandestine, but the mayor still had managed to elicit a confession strait out of the law-breakers mouth! The next day, the criminal was taken down a peg. Everyone had experienced his duplicity; it was acrimonious. "You shouldn't have broke into Bob's house" the criminals mother had always admonished him. The criminal was lying in jail with a paucity of gaurds because he so willingly gave himself away. The mayor now frequently lionized over him and treated him fairly. The rampant law-breaking was under the mayors ruling, so the mayor was skittish. The mayor knew he could not pass the buck, even though he so wanted to. He knew it would be inane.
