Welcome one and all to March's list of rps! In an effort to keep track of my role playing madness here on Gaia, I am throwing together this list. Mostly for my own uses; the subscriptions section of this site aggravates me just a tiny bit. So I can keep track of things more efficiently I'm keeping track of them here. ^_^ Feel free to check them out, read, join a group rp if you're interested! This is a fairy tale world: the tales you know, the tales of Alice, Snow White, and Red Riding Hood all merge together into this tale. The Queen's furious that her crystal 'tarts' have been stolen, and all of Wonderland is going to pay for this. The Duchess Snow, who has incurred the Queen's wrath, is under task to find these tarts, of it will be off with her head. The thief is the notorious Jabberwock, a shape-shifting former member of the Queen of Heart's own court. While Snow starts out on her mission, the Cheshire Cat, a lead member of the Red Hoods, is on the hunt for something strange, as the rumors have claimed is out there. These stories are going to collide with that of a visitor to Wonderland, a young girl named Alice... who is far more involved with the missing Tarts than she wants to believe.

Akira is a strange, strange girl. Not the usual sort of strange; this girl lives out on her own in the wild, goes about barefooted, talks to herself and people that aren't there, and has such an affinity for gathering unusual objects that her collection as a whole is referred to as her 'baby'. She's odd enough to be sure, odd enough that when she stumbles across another odd person from another world she isn't all too surprised. Demyx, for his part, was just planning to have a nice, normal day off... of course, such a thing is impossible now that the strange pink haired girl has him in her sights.

Adelaide, however, is courted by a different sort: she is the ticket to the demon Antoine's new life, and he is bound and determined to corrupt her and begin anew.

One is brazen and carefree while the other is reserved and tormented. Despite these differences they will both meet a young man without a heart and, as a result, are in danger of loosing their own.

Never-Ever-Neverland

Neverland... a fairytale, a storybook, surely. It's a fantastical, magical place... but it doesn't exist, does it? Oh, it does, but not in the way most people think. Neverland is where the consciousness of those who slip into comas retreat to, a magical imaginary world where those who tragedy has rendered helpless can forget their worries, forget their woes, forget who they are for as long as they sleep. Eleanor is one of these people lost in a coma but who doesn't know it, rare among those who come to Wonderland because she is a girl. Neverland is a net for boys generally... and the fact that this girl seems to defy this has caught the attention of the Leader of the Lost Boys: the infamous Peter Pan himself. Confused and curious about her existence, Peter's focus is so centered on this girl that he fails the wandering attentions of one of his own. Aidan is the second in command of the Lost Boys, a confident leader... and a hopeless romantic. Too bad the boy has fallen not for one of the flitting native girl, but for Giselle, wild first mate and pirate on the crew of his enemy, Captain James Hook. Twisted, of course; but in this delusional dream world anything is possible.

It's supposed to be a way for Will to get the jitters out so he can focus on his future in Microsoft, but it will turn out to mean so much more in regards to his secret friend, Amberlynn. Jeremy, Will's cousin and designated babysitter for the trip, is burned out by fast living and loose women... until he meets Amberlynn's no-nonsense best friend, Garnet. This summer road trip will probably turn out to have consequences that stretch beyond company rivalry...

But then the Volturi came to Forks and brought destruction with them; the Cullen family was devastated when first Alice, then Bella fell to the flames. The daughter disappeared and was assumed dead; those who were left behind were shells of their former existence. Edward and Jasper only had one another, and together they set off for lives of artificial solitude. Following an insane request they both sign up for a boarding school, determined to drift through the rest of life. But then two humans enter their worlds, Lilly and Evie. Both girls are so compelling, so intriguing, so inescapable; the vampire boys may be dragged from the depths of their misery whether they like it or not.

One is a vampire prince; the other his assistant... and, once these two lock on, they cause nothing but trouble.

Peculiar Circumstances

The Henderson siblings live apart from their families, and seem just as normal as any other. David's a scrabbling student who has fallen behind in his studies, and Olivia is a waitress with more then a slight inclination to clumsiness. But both of them are harboring unusual secrets. David has constructed a life-like doll named Amber, which he is on the precipice of bringing to life... this one great project should take care of all his failing grades! Of course, his fondness for this doll might be called a little unusual... for something that isn't human. As for Olivia, her imaginary friend Damien has suddenly and inexplicably come back to play... and things between them might not be nearly as friendly between them as in years past. Can they make it through? Well, we'll see.

For example, werewolves are real, and humans know about it. Not all humans, but many. For a pair of ignorant sisters, the werewolf truth is about to become a part of their life through two entirely different routes. One sister will befriend and love a werewolf; the other with find herself enamored with the man who has been hired to kill the werewolf. Will the sisters stand true, or will the powers at be destroy their bond?

A set of twins, Alice and Alyx, find themselves alone and bored on a rainy day. Deciding to explore their new home, they happen upon a strange secret room that contains only a mysterious mirror. This mirror is a portal, and it pulls the two girl though its surface to a place called Wonderland. Once there, they meet two men who offer assistance back to their own world. But in Wonderland there are no such things as friends, and the Hatter and the Cat have very specific reasons for befriending the two lost souls. Reasons that will result in their escape through the mirror... if, and only if, they can find suitable targets.

Royal Deception

There's nothing like an arranged royal marriage to get Princess Emma fired up. The last thing she wants is to get married to someone she doesn't love, even if it is for the peace of the Eastern and Western Nations! However, there doesn't seem to be much of a choice... until the Princess comes up with a plan: switch places with her long time friend and servant, the only companion to come with her on the trip: Phoebe Everest. Just until something else can be figured out, of course... however, complications arise when the intended husband Prince Chris is more charming then Phoebe could ever deal with, while the princess in disguise has a prince of her own to deal with, the deceptive and cynical younger son Edwin. Can the girls pull off their royal deception... or will their plans and the future plans of the nations fall into ruins?

The Desert

The desert can be a mysterious place; that heat's known to play more then one trick on the mind. However, there is one myth of the New Mexico sands that isn't as impossible as it sounds, and that is that the spirits of the dearly departed have a way of lingering on. Take the Steel Coyote, for example; that old bar has been haunted by the spirit of a biker named Michael ever since he bled out there. Rumor has it that the granddaughter of the bike gang's leader, a girl named Marie, is going to clean up the place, get it running again. Too bad Michael's not too fond of the idea of change... and if you don't believe that one, maybe you'll like the home of old man Peters, which is haunted by the spirit of a long dead bandit named Russell. Mr. Peters is taking steps to deal with him, though; he's hired some spirit hunter that's gotten pretty famous around these parts... Oli somethingorother. Of course, Olivia's a con artist masquerading as a ghost hunter... but no one's worried; Russell will straighten that girl out sure as shootin'. Either way, things are about to get down right ghostly out in the wild, wild west.

The circus is coming to town. The posters proclaim it to be true, and in the Industrial/Victorian town it stands as a gem of imagination and fantasy in the otherwise grueling circumstances the people find themselves in. But this circus is not what it seems; it is no lighthearted escape. People go into this circus... and are never seen again. The police suspect the circus is behind the disappearances --after all, they follow the path of the circus-- but there is little to no way to prove it; no bodies are ever found. For, you see, the inhabitants of the circus are not average human beings; they are monstrous creatures, and their audience are the ones on which they feed. Evangeline Reed's husband has become one of these vanished patrons, perhaps a victim... and she's determined to discover his fate.

The Red Queen's in power, and Wonderland is a world of tyranny and oppression. Their only hope for redemption lies in Alice and her powers of Imagination, the true air to the throne who has been hidden away in the 'real world' for her protection. After years of allowing her to grow up Vincent Hatter, a Mover, appears to bring her back to Wonderland. However, trouble is on the horizon; the Red Queen has sent her top assassin, the Cheshire Cat, to seek out the March Hare, a Watcher of growing power. The four of them will, inevitably clash. Will the Cheshire Cat leave the Queen's power and stay by Alice, the girl who escaped years ago when he first tried to kill her, or will he gain respect from his monarch by slaying her? Will Vincent be able to protect Alice, and, in doing so, will he be forced to sacrifice his closest friend, Chamomile? Which will win out, love or hate? No one knows, but one thing is for sure: the Red Queen's reign will soon come to an end.

Wonderland Rumble

Alice Diamond is a revolutionary, the spearhead of an organization out for revenge and the destruction of the Hearts Dynasty. With the Cheshire Cat at her side as the second in command, the consensus in Wonderland is that she will be victorious. But the Queen of Hearts is far too clever to allow such a thing to happen, and she comes forward with a preposition: they will trade seconds in command in order to work out demands to make efforts toward 'peace'. Of course, this is a facade; both the Queen and Alice have sent their seconds with one mission: destroy the Queen of Hearts/Alice Diamond! So the Cheshire Cat goes to the Heart Court, and the Mad Hatter, the Queen's right hand, goes off to the Revolution headquarters. The Queen and the Cheshire Cat instantly engage in a complex game of chess, one that is impossible to predict and even more unlikely to fail to kick up sparks. As for Alice Diamond, the Mad Hatter is unlike any other man she's ever met. Will his carefree attitude lead her to let her guard down... and lead, inevitably, to her death? Time will tell.
