Chapter 2
“Ok mystery books here and chiller books here.” I said putting up books on the shelf. I pushed my black hair out of my eye and pushed up my glasses. I looked over at the coffee shop across the street. Clangs and Crashes were coming from there. What was going on over there? I stepped down from the stool and walked out the door of the bookshop. Ugh it smelt like mints and salmon out here. I clasped my hand over my nose and kept walking towards the coffee shop. “SOMEBODY HELP!!!” somebody screamed. My eyes narrowed as I pulled my hand away from my mouth. I ran towards the shop without hesitation. I kicked open the door and could hardly believe my eyes. There was a giant man with a trench coat, black boots, and white silvery hair holding a girl in his arm. The girl was unconscious. The man looked at me with red shining eyes. I sneered at him. I closed my eyes. I felt a object in my hand. It was my sword, Dark Blade. I lunged at him with all my might. He blocked my attack and bounced me back. I raised my sword above my head and slammed it into the ground. Dark bolts shot all around the man and broke the ground around him. The girl went flying out of his hands and landed beside the trash can perfectly like as if she had been sitting down. She had a bit of blood on her cheek and her left arm from where she had been tossed. The man’s leg was now wedged into the ground.”WHO ARE YOU?!” he yelled at me still trying to pry himself out of the now broken apart ground.”Michael, your now worst nightmare.” I pointed my sword at his face and sneered. “If you value your life, leave.” The man’s eyes glowed bright red with anger. I pulled my sword to my side and then smacked him out of the ground. When I knocked him out of the ground he flew at the wall knocking against the pictures. Luckily the blinds were down and nobody could see my next move. I kicked the guy against the back and hoisted him up against the wall.”Remember this statement and never forget me; I will kill you if you come back to this town or for her.” I dropped him back down on the floor in the pile of glass. I raised my hands above my head and closed my eyes. The glass and everything that was ruined was put back to the way it was before the man had came. The man was now gone. Was Paviadilin testing me again? Cause that was easy…too easy.
