On Sunday night, December 7th, Muffin had 4 adorable puppies.
4 males, 3 Tris 1 Red & white.
The first born was a Tri male, his ID is "Red"
He is the runt of the litter and has the least white markings of all the pups.
Weight: 8.2 Oz
Time Whelped: 6:23PM
Red was born breach, but he came out pretty easy. Sadly I was unable to get to him before Muffin had torn his umbilical cord. Red was bleeding very badly and stopped moving, thankfully he was still breathing. And of coarse when i opened my septic powder it had got wet and turned to black goo. I pinched it tightly between my fingers with a towel and called my aunt right away to bring some powder. She rushed over and we got it to stop bleeding. he had lost so much blood he was very sluggish, so I gave him a drop of Kyro syrup to get him going. Finally he got moving and nursing and everyone was so relieved.

The Second born was a Red and White male, his ID is "Blue"
Blue is the largest of all the pups and the only Red and White.
Most Red Corgis are born a kind of brown or tan color, but Blue already had a reddish color, what a cutie!
Weight: 10.7 Oz
Time Whelped: 8:28PM
Blue was born breach, Muffin was pushing for 2 hours in till he came out half way. his head was stuck, his little paws were wiggling and soon his sack broke and his umbilical corgi popped off. I rubbed KY jelly around his head that was still stuck in Muffin and we had muffin stand up. Muffin laid her head down in and stopped pushing. the puppy's toes and belly were already blue and lifeless. I told my Aunt with tears in my eyes "I think he is already dead anyway." Auntie knew she had to pull him out or we might loose Muffin. I put my head down and cradled muffin in my trembling arms as Auntie dislodged Blue from her. He was one big baby! My sister held him and my aunt rubbed him briskly as I sucked all the fluids out of his throat with a bulb syringe. I dont know how long it was, but it felt like forever... then he stuck his tongue out as if gasping for air. We all saw a glimmer of hope for the baby and I took him and swung him in a downward motion to free the liquid. I did this about 5 times intill i heard a little splat and a bunch of fluid started pouring from his nose and mouth. i continued sucking all the fluid out for quite a while. Finaly after a lot of efort, he squeeked! We all giggled with joy. He started turning pink and wiggling about. The whole process took us 40 minutes to revive him. I put some kyro syrup on my finger and he latched on and would not let go, my finger actually started going numb lol. finaly we put him back with mom and all was well. You had us all in tears Blue! Thank you for not giving up, and I am sure if you could you would thank us for not giving up on you! He is a special puppy!

The Third Born was a Tri Male, his ID is "Yellow."
His Nickname is "Sunshine Panda." he has the most white on him and a full white blaze up his face that connect to his collar.
Weight: 9.2 Oz
Time Whelped: 10:30PM
Our little Panda was born with no problems at all, he was head first, came out quick, wiggling and breathing right away. That is why we nicknamed him Sunshine, because he was our little ray of sunshine after all the horror and worry from the last two pups. The name Panda is pretty obvious he looks like a little panda! See for yourself.

The forth born was a Tri male, his ID is" Forest Green."
He is a pretty puppy with very nice markings.
Weight: 9.5
Time Whelped: 12:08
Green was born breach, but we didn't have any problems really. We took him from Muffin right away so she would not rip the cord to close. We got him squeeking, tied off the cord and cut it. Then he was back with Momma. His birth went well and he nursed right away. what a good boy!
All the puppies are doing well check back soon for updates!
