A story I'm working on for my English class, it basically centers around an angel who can defy even the Gods and a demon who wishes to break the treaty between heaven and hell. The angel, Valerus, is our hero who ends up discovering deep-rooted secrets neither side will admit, or remember.
Valerus discovers that the Gods themselves have once done the unspeakable and now have become extremely hypocritical. The Goddess of the Twilight, Safrena, has taken an extreme curiosity to the subject and attempts to aid Valerus in indirect ways as to not upset the other gods.
The demon and the angel meet in book 4, The Battle, and the demon, Skie, attempts to kill our hero. Valerus pulls out all the stops and the entire battle will take place in book 5, Ragnarok.
Book 3, The Discovery, is the more tragic of the series. This is entirely focused on character depth and sympathy for both factions. In this book the angel finds that Dienastol was once both a demon and a goddess. Because of this, she was shunned by both groups and isolated to her own domain. The domain of both the righteous and the wicked, Limbo.
Our angel travels to this place, uncertain of what drew him there. He meets the fallen goddess/demon and goes to console her. It is here where we learn of Valerus' tragic mortal life and how he wishes he could of done it all over again.

This is just a small summary of the plot I intend my story to follow. Gotta get it done by Friday though. sweatdrop
