The rebellion of Macrianus Major, Macrianus Minor, and Quietus against Gallienus comes to an end. Both Macrianus march from Asia to Europe but are defeated in Thrace by emperor Gallienus' general Aureolus, and Macrianus and his son are killed. Quietus flees to the city of Emesa, where he is killed by Odaenathus of Palmyra.
