(This is part rp, part story. I play Ayame of course and and Ecthelion is played by Ecthelionv2 This in incomplete! DO NOT READ YET!!!)
The crescent moon shinned down upon the earth, the cold night sky brought frost to the windows on this freezing December night. Ayame lay in bed, though you couldn't see her for she was sleeping with her head under the covers curled into a ball to keep warm under her electric blanket and soft comforter. The light noise of a mp3 could be heard playing calming music. Something Ayame did ever night was go to sleep with music in a dark room.
"Ayame, I want a drink." Her mother yelled, though Ayame was a heavy sleeper, she could even sleep through a hurricane without so much as a stir. "Ayame! Get your a** up!" Her mother yelled, still Ayame couldn't hear her,"Damn it Ayame get your ******** a** up or your grounded from everything! AYAME!" Her mother screamed now. "Ugh? Do what? Uh....Yes ma'am." Ayame said as she uncovered her head, she looked to her black clock and groaned,"It's 2:00am....what do you want?" Ayame called back as she stood up wobbling slightly.
She quickly put on a jacket already shivering from the cold,"Ayame in here now!" Her mom yelled,"Yes ma'am I'm coming." Ayame called back as she walked into her mothers room,"What do you need?" Ayame asked. "I want a drink." Her mother said shaking her mug."Yes ma'am." Ayame sighed taking the mug from her then walked out of the room into the kitchen.
She went to the chest freezer and dug her hands into the cold ice to put it into her drink then filled it with her mothers diet sprite. *The nerve she has to wake you up at two in the morning just for a ******** drink, when she knows you have a hard time sleeping!* She yelled in her own head. *Akki...I don't wanna hear it...just shut up....I don't wanna fight...I know its you talking to me...* Ayame said withen her head as she walked into her mothers room.
She looked tired with her eyes half closed,"Get that ugly look off your face!" Her mother spat, Ayame only nodded did her best to change her tired look and quickly walked away,"Good night." Ayame said as she left the room. "Love you." Her mother yelled as Ayame entered her room. "Love you too." Ayame said though knowing it was fake....it always was...it was sickening to her. Soon she heard her mother snoring loudly,"Great...now Ill never get to sleep...." She mumbled looking out her window still bundled up, but luckily sleep came to her for now as her eyes slowly closed in the dim moon light.
*Else where*
Unbelievable, and unimaginable creatures hide away from the light of day, only coming out at night when the world is shrouded in darkness to hide their true form. The howl of the wolves filled the night air with heir songs. The angry winds and the wails of spirits in pain resounded like a sad aria reaching its crescendo. Amongst this all light foot steps could be heard to thous whom listen intently, a figure that only traveled at night had arrived in this small town of theirs.
Traversing the streets with nothing but old robes, some beads and an old woven hat, the man looked like an ordinary monk, but to a select few he was different...horrifyingly different he concealing his true form from the world. Despite his "difference" He had a heart of gold most mortals only dreamed of. He soon came to house, something inside the house...something from withen compelled him to say a little longer as he looked into the houses window.
"AYAME!" Her mother suddenly shouted, Ayame jolted awake this time jittery and jumpy,"Yes ma'am?" She called out getting up and going to her mother, that tone of voise....she knew something was up...."What do you need?" Ayame asked trembling from the cold and fear. Her mother was delirious,"You just left me here to die! How dare you do that to your sick dieing mother!"
*Not dieing soon enough* *Shush!* Ayame quickly argued amongst her self in her mind. "I....all you wanted was a drink...." Ayame said looking at her mother whom was getting up from her bed,"No I told you to cheack my blood sugar! How dare you call me a liar you damn b***h!" She yelled as she grabbed Ayame by the throat and slammed her against the wall. "I'm sorry I'll check it right now!" Ayame whimpered struggling to breath. "How could you leave me to die!" Her mother shouted.
She then slapped her across the face, Ayame yelped in pain she could taste blood in her mouth, and her lip began to go numb, busted now from her mothers hit. *Don't lose it, please don't lose it.* Ayame kept thinking to her self as her mother yelled and screamed beating her. "STOP HITTING ME!" Ayame yelled finaly, yet it barely choked out from her mother choking her. Ayame went dead weight bringing both her and her mother to the ground.
Ayame then used her knees and pushed her away from her,"How dare you kick me you whore!" Her mother yelled as Ayame scrambled to get away, but her mother grabbed her hair. Still Ayame pulled away, finaly her red hair gave way and all that was left was clump of hair in her mothers hand. Ayame ran to her room,"Get out of my house you ******** b***h!" Her mother screamed, Ayame by now had fallen apart, tears streamed down her face her hair was messed up, she looked horrible. "Fine." She said quietly to her self as she opened her window and with one last look jumped out and landed with a thud, crying out as she hurt some of the buses her mother had given her.
The strange figure listened in to the little one's predicament. Knowing how hard it was for someone to have to feint your true feelings for the sake of duty and survival. Once she was out the figure approached her, a small glow on his eye sockets as he approached Ayame. Slight chanting followed him as a haunting hymn growing louder with ever step he took to Ayame.
He went on one knee, his hat adjusted to cover his face so not to startle her too much by his skull of a head. He reached out with his sleeved hands, the cloth covering his true fleshless bones.
Ayame was frightened,"Who are you?" She asked scampering back from him, already she could hear her mother scream, though what was said was unclear to her. Blood trickled down the left side of her lip where it had been busted, she looked up panicked. She then looked to the man,"I...gotta go." She finaly said as she stood up wincing as she did then disappeared behind the house, just as her mother came to the window,"Ayame! I know your out here! Where the hell are you! Damn it Ayame!" She screamed hitting the windowsill.
He looked up with a smiling face, his dark black hair was kept at a reasonable length and his face contorted with a smile. "Hm? Sorry ma'am who are you talking about?" he asked her with a happy looking smile. In the eyes of the mother he looked like a normal man, and she heard no chanting.
"Have you seen a red headed girl?" Her mother asked, like a switch she seamed nice and calm,"She ran away and I'm afraid, she has no street smarts, I don't want her hurt." The woman said looking at the man. Ayame now long gone knew what her mother way saying...it was always like this....
"Sorry. Never saw anyone come by." he said to her as he started to leave, going off to the direction Ayame had wandered off to to shake this creepy lady off. He could feel her vibes, she felt no love for the girl she called her daughter.
She growled walking off now into the house. Ayame was running, but being cooped up inside the house all the time didn't get very far...and her mother was right, Ayame was very gullible, and naive. A perfect target for predators. She stood five foot and four inches tall, and she was only ninety five pounds even though she was six teen. She was a perfect target for the evil minded. She fell with a yelp, her legs giving out from under her,"I can't take this any more." Ayame cried staying on the ground, her body trembling vilently from the cold air. She thought she was hidden enough, so she started crying.
*Your such an idiot!* *But I had to get away* *No I should have killed her then* She argued in her mind,"Oh, enough! Shut up! Just shut up...." Ayame cried shaking her head as tears streamed down her cheeks. "Hush now little one." the young man said to her as he appeared beside her, gently stroking her cheek and offering some warm hot cocoa for her. "You alright?" he asked her softly, his hat still covering his features.
"Wha!" Ayame shouted rolling over on her back,"You again?" She looked at the cocoa, she loved cocoa,"Y-yeah...I-I'm fine." She said taking the cocoa,"Wait...how do I know you didn't put something in this?" She asked, he was a stranger after all. "You can trust me on that." he said to her with a smile, still hiding his face. "I've heard about you...what happened there as I passed by." He continued on as he sat next to her, his fingers toyed with the beads as his hands were hidden in his robes.
"Oh......okay?" She said as she sipped the cocoa both her hands wrapped around the mug, she didn't look at him at first, then she finaly looked at him,"Where did you get this?" She asked still looking like hell from the brutal fight finishing off the cocoa he had given. He gave her a light smile, his face still hidden under the hat as he snapped his fingers, another mug appeared with more cocoa for them. "Hmm...magic? If you wish to believe it."
Ayame went wide eyed,"Wow! How did you do that! I love magic! That's so cool!" Ayame giggled despite her beaten appearance, he way she acted now you couldn't tell the horrid event that had happened just moments ago. He gave her a happy smile though keeping his face hidden. He stood up and offered a hand to her,"You have great potential...I can wake the spirit within you."
"Wake the spirit withen me? Great potential?" Ayame broke out in laughter at the foolish thought,"Me? Your kidding me....beside I dunno know who you are." Ayame said as she sipped the cocoa it soon gone as well. "Yes..." he said with a smile, "You're laughing now...but inside of you...you have greatness written all over it." he continued, sipping on some more cocoa.
"How can I? I'm just a ******** up..." Ayame said as her head sank low to the ground, a tear dropped into her cocoa,"That's all I was, am and will ever be." The happy tone she had faltered, and an over whelming sad one replaced it, her shoulders slouched now as well, she gripping her mug tightly. He sighed softly, rolling up a sleeve as a gentle yet thin cold finger stroked her cheek softly,"No you're not...I've seen the likes of your mother...I know how it feels...to have to live a lie..."
"What are you talking about?" Ayame asked looking up at him now with sorrowful eyes, his touch...a caring touch...even from this stranger it was wonderful...just to feel wanted, a caring hand...something most took for granted that she never had and only dreamed of. That alone filled hr broken, bleeding heart with joy.
"I've been through the same thing little one." The man said to her in a soft and caring tone. Gently stroking her cheek, careful to try and make sure his features were hidden form her so she wouldn't freak out seeing the creature he really was.
(That's it for now, more soon to come!)
