Outlaw Star is one of my favorite animes of all time. All of the characters are awesome, Gene is a bad @$$, Jim is a genius, Suzuka is a solitary beauty, Aisha is in an energetic cutie, and Melfina is a timid little flower. But who could forget the glue that holds them all together, Guilliumn (don't know if I spelled that right). The nervous worry wort that tries to keep his cool and everyone alive.
It is a shame that it never launched a video game like the Cowboy Bebop game (never released in the US). I think that it would've been a hit, especially with all of the publicity it got through Toonami at the time. Maybe they could have gone the way of Fullmetal Alchemist, and derived their own little adventure just for the game that could have possibly happened in the series.
Maybe they could release one now onto the new platforms, preferably the PS3 (since I'm a big play Station fanboy mrgreen ). I think that it would look absolutely astounding, just imagine the opening cut scene could be the anime opening in complete CG, like Budokai 1(only better rofl ).
